STAR PM3 and FAST PM3 testing dates are approaching!
⭐ Kindergarten – 2nd Grade:
STAR PM3 testing will take place on April 21 & 22
📘 Grades 3 – 6:
FAST PM3 testing will take place on May 5 & 6
Please help your child be prepared by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time. ⏰🍎

📚 Out-of-Field Teacher Notification
At Discovery Elementary, we are committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for every student. Occasionally, a teacher may be assigned to teach a subject while working toward additional certification in that subject area or to earn their ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) endorsement or other content area certification.
These teachers are fully certified to teach in Florida and are actively completing the steps needed to meet additional requirements. We’re sharing this information to keep you informed and involved in your child’s education.

What to Expect:
📚 A brief presentation by our principal highlighting current school data
📚 A take-home literacy activity and a book for each child
📚 Fun, literacy-based games for families to play together
This year’s theme is Red, White, and Blue: Celebrating 250 Chapters of America. Families are encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue or wear clothing that represents our country to help us celebrate!

As families across Brevard prepare for the upcoming open enrollment period, Brevard Public Schools is spotlighting its commitment to educational choice through a series of Middle and High School Choice & Curriculum Nights hosted throughout the district.
These events offer parents and guardians the opportunity to explore academic programs, meet educators, and evaluate the unique offerings of each school — all with the goal of helping families make informed decisions about their child’s educational path.
