Dear Discovery Families,
Our students will soon begin FAST PM1 testing, the first progress-monitoring assessment of the school year. FAST assessments help teachers understand how students are progressing toward Floridaās academic standards and identify areas where students may need additional support.
š What Parents Should Know:
FAST PM1 is given to students
three times during the school year
.
Testing will begin
August 25
for students in
grades 3ā6
.
Testing will begin on September 9 for students in grades K-2
Students will complete the assessment on a
computer or tablet
.
PM1 results are for informational purposes only
and will help teachers plan instruction and support student learning.

Please encourage your child to get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, arrive at school on time, and do their best. Remind them to take their time, read carefully, and show what they know!
